PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Thursday, March 6, 2014

Wednesday gave us some very good air quality, and Thursday is looking promising as well.  We should see Good or Moderate air quality through the morning hours and possibly into the afternoon also.  We could see the AQI bump into Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups at times in the morning and afternoon, but after sunset we expect to see a more continuous accumulation.

EXTENDED FORECAST

FRIDAY, March 7:  Friday's forecast is looking better than it did yesterday, but right now it looks as though we will spend much of the day at Unhealthy.  We could see in dip in the pollution levels around late morning or early afternoon, but that should not last for long.

SATURDAY, March 8:  Poor air quality should be the order of the day; we expect to see the AQI at Unhealthy or higher throughout the day.

SUNDAY, March 9:  The poor air quality should continue on Sunday, but as of right now we do not expect to see the AQI go much above the Unhealthy range.
